Best Self Emptying Robot Vacuum and Mop
If you want a two-in-one machine that automatically empty its own dust bin and mops without your intervention Consider this option. It also comes with a range of mapping features as well as Alexa integration.
This robot has a hefty price tag but is great to keep up with spills and daily dust. It features advanced programming for efficient obstacle avoidance and it is able to set up areas to mop or vacuum in different rooms.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
This mop and vacuum robot is a combination of a stylish robust design with the most recent robotic technology. The powerful smartphone app helps you to manage routine maintenance such as emptying the dust bin and cleaning the mop pad in between uses. It docks to an auto-emptying platform that cleans and empties it after every cleaning cycle. It's one of the only robots that can offer these features at a high price, and it did well in our tests.
Roborock has revamped its S8 Pro Ultra from last year's model. The focus was on improving the vacuum's object avoidance and increasing its cleaning power. The result is a more efficient, reliable and cleaner machine. It now comes with an improved suction motor and dual rubber rollers in its floorhead, which help in picking up debris from bare floors and clearing pet hair off carpet. Its battery is now able to run up to 180 minutes and can support scheduled charging to cut down on the amount of electricity consumed.
The robot's RockDock Ultra docking stations are the most significant change. They do more than empty and clean their contents after each cleaning cycle. It also cleans the mop pad, dries it with warm air, and refills its water tank. This alone is what sets it apart from competitors, as it greatly reduces the amount of time and effort you have to manage its maintenance.
The S8 Pro Ultra comes with an easy-to-use set-up. You'll require a Wi-Fi network to download the companion app and connect your docking station with an extra mop pad. After that, you're ready to begin cleaning.
In our tests in our tests, the S8 Pro Ultra picked up the most surface debris and embedded dirt on carpets with medium pile and plain floors. Its vacuuming power isn't quite as powerful as our top pick, the Roomba j7+ by iRobot, but it's still a capable and versatile machine worth your consideration.
The app can be used to create a 3D model of your home, set no-go zones, and plan specific cleaning times. The app provides a running record of cleaning times and area coverage and lets you view the performance of each room and area. You can also assign different cleaning options to each space. You can also add voice control to your Echo device or smart speaker if you own one.
2. Roomba j7+ from iRobot
The Roomba j7+ model from iRobot is an excellent option for those seeking a self-emptying vacuum that can also mop. This model is equipped with iRobot's Imprint Smart Mapping Technology to create an outline of your home's floor so that it can clean rooms as efficiently as possible. Dirt Detect helps the robot concentrate on areas that are filthy, and Reactive Sensor Technology helps it avoid obstacles.
The j7+, as with other iRobot products can be programmed to begin cleaning even when you're not at home and stop when it's not finished. It can be controlled via the iRobot app or via Alexa and Google Assistant-enabled smart speakers. It responds more quickly to voice commands than the majority of other robots such as the self-emptying Neabot NoMo.
In addition to letting you control the robot by either a smartphone or remote as well, the iRobot Genius app makes it easy to configure the j7+, set an agenda, and fine-tune other settings. It can even guide new users through the onboarding process that will assist the robot in learning their home and map out the space it will clean.
The j7+ comes with an extra-large dust bin than many of the other self-emptying robot vacuums we've tried. This lets it store more debris, however you'll have to empty it every seven to eight months (or more frequently if have a lot of pet hair or other heavy debris). iRobot sells filters and bags that can be replaced separately.
The j7+ also features a front-facing camera that is supposed to help the robot avoid hazards like power cords and pet waste. The camera doesn't work so well in dim light however you may want to consider a competitor with a more efficient camera, like the Roborock S7 MaxV.
I was also delighted to see that when docked, the iRobot j7+ automatically empty its dust bin and put it into Clean Base Automatic Dirt disposal. This is a huge improvement over the majority of competitors that require you to open and empty the bin manually. It's a small detail but it can help you save time and frustration.
3. Ecovacs Deebot T10 Omni

The Deebot T10 is a sleek robot that offers impressive cleaning performance. It has a 5000Pa suction, and is equipped with dual-sided brushes and a floating brush to remove dirt from hard floors and corners. It is equipped with a powerful battery that can be used for both vacuuming and mops. If the battery gets low, it will return to its dock. Its smart features include a home-map, 3D mapping and automatic cleaning schedules.
The T10 Omni, like other Deebot models uses an additional tank to wash and to dry the mopping pad to prevent cross-contamination. The T10 cleaning tank can hold upto 4L clean water. This is enough to mop 400m2. It has a special design that allows it to refill and drain without touching the pad or getting wet.
One thing that sets the T10 apart from other robot vacuums is its advanced mapping technology, which creates an accurate three-dimensional map of your home's layout. This allows the robot to more accurately detect obstacles and alter its navigation system that enhances the overall efficiency of cleaning.
Its smart features also include a top-quality microphone that responds to voice commands, and the ECOVACS application is simple to use and offers a wide range of adjustable settings. The only downside is that it doesn't include the remote control, which some find frustrating.
The T10 OMNI is excellent at cleaning pet hair. It was able to eliminate the majority of the fur from my carpets in just two cleaning cycles, and was able to even navigate around furniture that was blocking its path.
Although it's not as hands-free as the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the T10 Omni is an excellent option for those looking for a self-emptying robot vacuum and mop. The mops have the same power as its vacuums, and it comes with a more attractive design than Roomba. The T10's smart features are more than enough to make up for the absence of a remote. With the app, you can quickly start and stop a cleaning process. You can also schedule it and change the settings of your device.
4. Shark ION XL
Shark's top-of-the-line self-emptying robot vacuum The ION XL is an excellent option for those looking for hands-off cleaning with a high level of performance. The robot vacuum has an enormous bin that can store one month's worth of dirt, and the base can be set to automatically empty it at the end of each cleaning run for longer-term storage. The ION XL is one of the top robot vacuums available that are available for hard and carpeted floors. It can also sweep and mop your floor. You can control the robot through an app or voice commands. You can also make an outline of your home at any time. The robot can also do an excellent job of moving around furniture and can even move through stairs and fully-carpeted rooms effortlessly.
I tried the ION XL in a family and kitchen room with hardwood flooring, area rugs, and a standard debris test. It did an excellent job vacuuming, clearing debris and pet hair from the floors, and took care of some of the most stubborn crumbs on carpets. It was also excellent in maneuvering around my bar stools and did not bump into them as the iRobot J7+ did in this test. The only downside is that the ION XL is unable to detect cords, toys and shoes that are in its path, which means you'll have prepare your home for cleaning prior to using this vacuum if you want it to avoid these items.
The ION XL robotic cleaner is not as intelligent as the iRobot j7+ but it's a good option if you do not want to spend more than $500 on a robotic. It is better than the eufy RoboVac 11S in most ways and is more easy to maintain and incurring lower recurring expenses. It also does a better job of vacuuming floors with no carpet and removing pet hair, but it does not do as well on lowor high pile carpet.
robot vacuum with auto empty 's not as sturdy as the Roborock S8, but it is still a solid option. The ION XL is a powerful machine with a large capacity bin. It is controlled via an app or a voice command and is easy to maintain. It also has an affordable price.
